📢 Telegram Notifications are LIVE!
Now you can get all your bot alerts straight to your Telegram! How to set it up? Check out this guide: https://t.me/projectreaperteamhub/163
You’ll get notifications for:
• When the robot opens a trade
• When it closes a trade
• Account balance status
• Number of open trades and their profit
• Timed account reports
• Terminal shutdown alerts
• Robot window close alerts
This is super handy if you’re running the bot on a virtual machine. If the terminal crashes or the VM reboots, the robot will send you a heads-up notification itself. Peace of mind! 👍
📈 Major Change: Trend & Horizontal Lines Logic
The way the bot works with trend and horizontal lines has been revamped. It now uses a Moving Average to detect line crossings. New settings for this:
DeleteSignallinesOnActivate – deletes signal lines after a trade is opened
DeleteCloselinesOnActivate – deletes order closing lines when they are triggered
Trendline_MA_Period – the MA period for detecting line crossings
Trendline_MA_Method – the averaging method (SMA, EMA, MEDIAN…)
Trendline_MA_Price – the price type for the MA
Close_MA_Period – the MA period for closing orders
Close_MA_Method – the averaging method for closing (SMA, EMA, MEDIAN…)
Close_MA_Price – the price type for the closing MA
🛡 Support/Resistance Zones + MA Breakouts
We’ve also added the ability for the robot to work with Support/Resistance zones using Moving Average crossovers. New parameters here:
sr_ZoneMA_Breakout – enable/disable MA crossover detection with zones
supresZones_MA_Period – the MA period for zone crossover activation
supresZones_MA_Method – the averaging method (SMA, EMA, MEDIAN…)
supresZones_MA_Price – the price type for this MA
💡 Pro Tip:
You can tweak each Moving Average individually to match your strategy and trading pair. Using an MA smooths out price noise, but don’t go overboard with huge periods if you’re scalping – it’ll lag your signals. The exception is if you’re taking zones/levels from higher timeframes. As always, use your head and test things out!
💡 An example of use:
In the short video the EA trades breakouts of support & resistance zones using a moving average 📈.
It automatically places the stop loss at the opposite of the zone ⚡️ and uses a trailing profit based on a percentage of an account balance 💰.
